Icons Explained

These icons can be found in our packaging. Find out what they means from our list below.

The symbol with a calliper and a numeric value denoted the overall thickness of the product. The one on the left indicated a 15 millimetres overall thickness.

A symbol with opening arrows and a numeric value denoted the width of the product. The one on the left indicated 190 millimetres wide.

A symbol with a pyramid and letters denoted the veneer grading information. The one on the left indicated an AB2 grade. For further information, please see the grading page.

The staggered sheets symbol with the wording “Multi-Ply” indicate that the base composition of the product is using multiple layers of ply.

A symbol with 3 sheets staggered and the wording “Three Ply” indicates the base composition of the product has a thick softcore and a thin back ply.

A symbol showing a tongue & groove indicates the product has a T&G profile.

A symbol showing the click system indicates the product has a click profile.

A symbol of a tape and M² is to indicate the pack size of the product. The one on the left indicated a pack size of 2.59M². All our product pack size is ceilinged to the 2nd decimal point.

A heating element with arrows pointing upward indicated the product supports installation over underfloor heating providing the installation adheres to our instructions.

The shiny sparkling surface symbol indicated the product has a smooth finish. Smooth-finished products are easy to clean.

The wire brushed symbol indicated the product has been brushed. This enhanced the character. If you have 4 legged friends who like to run around then the brushed finish would provide them with a better grip.

UV lacquer is a hard-wearing layer that sits on top of the wood surface. Cured by high-energy UV rays, it does not penetrate into the wood, instead, it bonds to the surface of the wood, and forms a layer on top.

The finish let the oil soak into the surface and uses a high-capacity UV ray to cure and harden it. The oil will bond with wood and form a hard-wearing layer.

Natural oiled floors enhance the innate beauty of your hardwood floors and hide scratches, scuffs and dirt. This is because the oil blends with the wood and becomes part of it.

The surface of this floor has saw marks across the face of the board perpendicular to the length. This creates a special effect of an aged look that’s similar to reclaimed wood.
