1. About These Terms
These Terms & Conditions of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the G12 Digital Showroom mobile application (“the App”), which is provided by Q&Y International Ltd, trading as Q&Y Flooring (“Q&Y”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
By downloading, installing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the App.
The App is intended to provide users with a digital showroom containing photographs, room-set images, product images and other visual information relating to our flooring products.
The App is provided primarily as a visual reference and showroom tool. It is not intended to replace physical product samples, technical documentation, installation instructions or professional advice.

3. Use of the App
You may use the App for lawful purposes, including viewing and considering Q&Y flooring products and associated room-set and product imagery.
You agree not to:
- use the App for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the App or its underlying systems;
- interfere with or disrupt the operation or security of the App;
- copy, reproduce, modify, distribute or commercially exploit the App or its contents except where expressly permitted by us;
- remove copyright, trademark or other proprietary notices;
- use images or other content from the App in a way that suggests an endorsement, partnership or affiliation with Q&Y without our written permission; or
- use automated systems or other means to systematically extract, reproduce or collect content from the App.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App where we reasonably believe that it is being misused or these Terms have been breached.
4. Product Images & Colour Disclaimer
Important Notice – Please Read Carefully
The images displayed within the G12 Digital Showroom are provided for illustration and reference purposes only.
Due to the inherent limitations of cameras and photographic equipment, differences in natural and artificial lighting, image processing, photography conditions and the varying characteristics of mobile phone, tablet, computer and other displays, the colours shown in the App may not be an exact representation of the actual flooring product.
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that our product images accurately represent our products. However, digital images should not be regarded as an absolutely accurate representation of the actual product.
The appearance of a flooring product may differ between the image displayed on your device and the actual product supplied.
Accordingly, you should not rely solely upon images displayed in the App when selecting flooring or making a purchasing decision.
5. Natural Characteristics of Wood Flooring
Wood is a natural material and every piece of wood flooring will have its own individual appearance.
Natural variations may occur in:
- colour;
- tone and shade;
- grain pattern;
- knots;
- texture;
- figuring;
- character;
- mineral markings; and
- other naturally occurring features.
Room-set images, product photography and showroom samples can provide an indication of a product’s appearance, but they may not represent the full range of natural variation that may occur within the actual flooring.
Even flooring from the same product range, batch or specification may contain natural differences in appearance.
These natural characteristics should not necessarily be regarded as defects.
6. Physical Samples
Where a particular appearance, colour, grade or character is important to your purchasing decision, we strongly recommend that you view an actual physical product sample before placing an order.
Photographs and digital images should not be used as the sole basis for selecting a particular flooring product.
A physical sample provides a substantially better indication of the product’s actual colour, texture and character, although a sample itself may not display every natural variation that can occur across a larger quantity of flooring.
7. Inspection Before Installation
Customers should inspect flooring carefully before installation to ensure that the product meets their expectations regarding appearance, quality, colour, character and specification.
Any concerns should be raised with the relevant supplier or Q&Y before the flooring is installed.
Where flooring has been installed, this may affect the nature and extent of any remedy available where an issue could reasonably have been identified through inspection before installation. Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or restrict any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
8. Changes in Colour Over Time
Wood flooring is a natural product and may change in appearance over time when exposed to natural or artificial light.
Generally, wood flooring may become richer in colour and its grain patterns may become more harmonised as it matures.
The extent and nature of such changes will vary depending upon factors including the species of wood, finish, exposure to light and the environment in which the flooring is installed.
The appearance shown in the App should therefore not be regarded as a guarantee of how flooring will look after installation or after a period of use.
9. Product Availability & Specifications
Our flooring collections are continually reviewed, improved and expanded.
Product availability, product names, specifications, finishes, dimensions, grades, colours and other characteristics may change from time to time.
Products shown in the App may not always be available for purchase.
The App should therefore not be regarded as a definitive or guaranteed statement of current stock availability, pricing or product specification.
Customers should confirm the current product specification, availability and relevant commercial information with Q&Y before placing an order.
10. Installation
We recommend that all Q&Y flooring products are installed by appropriately qualified and experienced professional flooring installers.
Installation should always be carried out in accordance with the applicable installation instructions, product requirements and relevant industry standards.
Only flooring products specifically designed and approved for use with underfloor heating or radiant heating systems should be installed over such systems.
Where underfloor heating is proposed, the installation must comply with the relevant product requirements and Q&Y installation instructions, which are available on request where applicable.
The App does not constitute installation advice and should not be relied upon as a substitute for the applicable installation instructions or professional advice.
11. No Substitute for Product Documentation
Information displayed within the App is not intended to replace:
- product technical specifications;
- installation instructions;
- care and maintenance instructions;
- product data sheets;
- warranty information;
- safety information; or
- other documentation supplied by Q&Y.
Where technical, installation or product-specific information is required, you should obtain and refer to the appropriate documentation before proceeding.
12. Accuracy of Information
We take reasonable care to ensure that the information and images contained within the App are accurate at the time they are published.
However, we do not guarantee that all information will always be complete, current, error-free or continuously available.
We reserve the right to correct errors and to amend, update, remove or replace content within the App at any time.
13. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the App and its contents, including but not limited to photographs, room-set images, product images, graphics, text, logos, designs and other materials, are owned by or licensed to Q&Y International Ltd unless otherwise stated.
Nothing in these Terms grants you ownership of any intellectual property rights in the App or its contents.
You may view the content for your personal or legitimate business use in connection with considering Q&Y products, but you must not reproduce, republish, distribute, modify or commercially exploit the content without our prior written permission.
14. App Availability
We aim to keep the App available and functioning properly, but we do not guarantee that the App will always be available, uninterrupted or free from errors.
The App may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, technical problems, network issues or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the App at any time.
15. Third-Party Services
The App may rely upon third-party services, operating systems, hosting services, content delivery services or other technical infrastructure.
We are not responsible for interruptions or failures caused by third-party services that are outside our reasonable control.
Your use of the App may also be subject to the terms and policies of the relevant app store, operating system provider or other third-party service.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Q&Y shall not be responsible for losses arising solely from a user’s decision to rely upon a digital image, colour representation, room-set image or other visual content in the App where the relevant information was provided for illustrative or reference purposes only.
In particular, Q&Y shall not be responsible for differences between a digital image and the actual appearance of a natural wood flooring product where such differences arise from photography, lighting, display technology, natural variation in wood or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
However, nothing in these Terms shall:
- exclude or restrict liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence;
- exclude or restrict liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
- exclude or restrict liability that cannot legally be excluded or restricted;
- remove or limit any statutory rights that you may have as a consumer; or
- exclude or restrict any responsibility we have in relation to goods, digital content or services where the law does not permit such exclusion or restriction.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.
17. No Guarantee of Purchase or Availability
The presence of a product, image or collection within the App does not constitute an offer to sell and does not guarantee that the product is currently available.
Prices, stock levels, product specifications and commercial terms may be subject to change.
Any purchase of products from Q&Y will be subject to the applicable terms and conditions of sale.
18. Privacy
The App may process certain information depending on how the App operates and the services it uses.
Our handling of personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy, which should be read alongside these Terms.

If the App collects or processes personal or device information, our Google Play listing and Privacy Policy will provide the relevant information about such processing.
19. Updates to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes to the App, our services, applicable law or our business practices.
The latest version will be made available through the App or our website.
Your continued use of the App after updated Terms have been made available will constitute acceptance of the updated Terms, where permitted by applicable law.
20. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer, you will also retain the benefit of any mandatory rights and protections available to you under the laws that apply to you and which cannot lawfully be excluded by these Terms.
